I see your point, but I think this issue is bigger than short term trends in the stock market.

Andrew,

The stock market is behaving stupidly....the army has not mobilized and a coup is not eminent.

You may want to read some of the excerpts from the Federalist Papers that S. Harris posted on this thread. There is a lot more at stake then a temporary dip in the stock market.
