Keith,

How would you set it up as a single account in Newport?

I'll have to get back to you on that; I asked Steve the same question :-)

Seriously, I thought that someone had mentioned that it is possible to set up an AIM basket in Newport.

Regards,
Jack

Hi Keith and Jack,
For your common cash pool portfolio, you can use Newport in a two step approach. First is to have all your stocks in one Newport account where you manage each. Use the "Value Of Your Portfolio" printout from the print menu to get the grand total for the basket.

Use the values from the basket to run the overall account in a separate installation of Newport. This will involve tracking an "average" share value through each sale. It can be done, I've done it.

Best regards, Tom
