Anyone here ever find a mistake on your bank statement? Did you try to get it corrected?

Anyone here ever get a bad fill on a market order, especially when you first started trading? Did you go crying to your broker to give you your money back and let you make the trade again?

I deposited $X in my brokerage account. Then due to some technicality it showed $X-1000. I asked them to rectify it. When they refused, I went to court.
I hope this example helps. If not, I will try to design my explanation befitting a 3 year old kid.
