I agree. With 100,000,000 votes, there will always be a margin of error.

It does scare me a bit that a dead man can win a seat in the Senate.

Well, no, SR I didn't think 100% but it looks really bad for 100's of ballots to be 'lost'.

I'm still angry at our town for 4 years ago when the machines didn't work, noone had delivered the write in ballots, and it did change the seating on Council, I think.

There was no new election held. The people in charge of the machines just claimed that the machines worked, you just had to mark your votes in a certain order.

Legally I think you have to totally ignore the riots and hoopla and just look at the legal issues. If the ballots were printed in an illegal manner then that's ILLEGAL, and they have a case for revoting. It makes no difference who approved the ballots. We don't pick and choose which laws we use, if they were printed in an illegal manner, they have a case for a revote IMO.
