Jim, do you know for a fact, that lead has been cut from 400K to 85K? Has it been confirmed? Boy, the media sure has been quiet about gore losing his home state. Oh but, liberals down in Palm Beach county are much smarter and more sophisticated that people in Tenn. Right?

JW,
I've been thinking the same thing if Gore took Tenn it would be a moot point. I don't believe an elected prez has ever lost his home state. Losing candidates have.

09:35 ET QUALCOMM (QCOM) 73 11/16 +1 (+1.4%): -- Update -- Lehman believe that some carriers currently using TDMA and iDEN technology may be considering upgrading to Qualcomm’s 1X-CDMA technology as they migrate to data enabled networks.

If the above happens, QCOM is going to the moon, and we will party likes it's 1999. You can bank on it.

If Gore is successful in getting a Palm Beach re-vote, I believe the re-vote should be expanded to all Florida resident and absentee voters. Why should a select few -- even if they punched the wrong button -- be able to re-cast a vote, having information about returns everywhere else, when all other voters cast their ballot without such knowledge. Should those few be allowed to cast a ballot again, and choose whomever they now wish to vote for? It is impossible to know who they intended to vote for last Tuesday, just as it is impossible to know if they have changed their intent over this time, with all of the press coverage and knowledge of other results.
