Not that the GOP is immune from those same accusations. Apparently when the GOP talks of the 16,000+ voters registered to the 'Independent Party' in Palm Beach County, they neglect to state that the Independent Party includes many parties, including the Reform Party. Thus, the actual number of Buchanan supporters is most probably much smaller. Although I think the state of Florida should go to whoever wins the recount regardless of confusing ballots, from my perspective it is pretty clear that a whole heck of a lot of people in Palm Beach County thought they were voting for Gore when they actually voted for Buchanan.
