Why do you feel that trendlines drawn on linear-scale long-term charts are of any importance?

Please explain... do you think that linear-chart trendlines should have some relevance to an index growing at say 15% average per year?

I'm quite disturbed by your message, because it makes no sense to me at all.

Sure, the log trendline should be the correct one - but if we got there we will have effects in the physical economy (towards depression) that will make markets break this trend to the downside. I'm only saying when a) happens b) will be the consequence.

It will probably need a near-zero-rate policy to help out of this if markets break the uptrend.
