Time for some demand side math. By MCOMs own numbers, there are 10 million lap top users in the 100 million person footprint that the 46 service area covers. For MCOM to be BREAK even on JUST an operating cash flow basis, they need 1.4 Million users. So the math says that MCOM expects to get 14% of the lap tops in it's service area. Uh just a bit ambitious, doncha think? And that's just to break even on an operating basis. MCOM's cash will be exhausted by early 2001. This adds up to the implosion under way...

Brownfingers is not really worth the bandwith. Check out his thread. Guy is trying to be anthony. brownie never announces real time. If you check his trades, he's usually a contra indicator. On mcom, he went boldly short without listing a time or price. at that time the stock was 18 and immediately ran up to 24. He sold at the bottom.

greatest bear market in 15 years, and this guy from wwf is making a couple of points.

He's the gotcha and poop fingered king. check out his "calls". LOL as he says, "what a fricken moron."

BTW check out the aol boards about 3 years ago and compare them with mcom. remember when aol was getting bagged and everyone was saying they would never make money and would be chapter 11. The internet was better technology and nobody would use aol. brownie was there. I rode that from split(s) adjusted 2+ to a 40 bagger, one trade, one buy and hold. Made me more money than anything else in my life.

I believe there are many good comparisons between MCOM and AOL of that period except that MCOM has bigger bucks behind them. I'm not saying MCOM is going to be a 40 bagger from my original buy at 5, but I don't see much downside here. Just as longs are dropping like flies on MCOM, I had to sit through the same thing with AOL particularly when the lawsuits started and the AG of NY got in for the publicity.

Simple technology with a 3 year head start over any remote competition. Just like AOL.

Brownfingers will just do a paragraph of hype and bash and repeat the same shyte over and over. That's why he's called brown fingers. He has no depth. His key is trying to scare a few shares in a thinly traded stock.

WHAT A FRICKEN MORON.
