Susan,

I'm not trying to be argumentative here, but your approach works fine in an overall market uptrend.

Yea I get hit for a few points sometimes for a short time, but in hindsight they are always my best investments

What would happen in an overall market downtrend?

Just something to think about.

LOL! No, I am certainly not investing in Safeway, either, and you are right, if enough are saying tech is the worst place to be, its time to take the contrarian view and get back into tech. I'm not sure I see that yet.

However, I am still seeing some risk fundamentally based on valuation and slowing growth.

PE's are still 100-500 or even negative among some of the favorite names. I like to see a stock have a PE in line with its growth.

That said, certain stock prices are starting to become almost irresistible, aren't they?
