OT: Mr. Dog, I think the vilification of Gore here is overdone. The concession call to Bush and the aborted trip to make the public concession speech indicate to me that Gore was personally ready to concede. What happened? IMHO Gore got a phone call from a really big BIG DOG who instructed him to put his limo in reverse and take back his concession call to Bush. Bush should have known that Gore was only doing his job. I knew Gore when he was a reporter for the Nashville Tennessean and I was running in Democratic primary for US Congress. He's really as sniveling as Bush and just as much a water carrier for the big BIG DOGS as Bush. I don't think he's acting out of personal lust for power etc etc., just doing what he's told, as usual.
