I'll shut up now before I offend someone. Too late. Do you want GW Bush in office so badly and hate Al Gore so much that you'd be willing to set aside the will of the voting public? Those 19,000 double-punched ballots represent the possible denial of the right to vote of US citizens. So many people in one place all made the same mistake, isn't it just possible something is wrong with the vote collection process there? You may characterize these citizens as having low intelligence, but I think you really don't believe that. I think you are angry over the possible loss of the election, and so are venting. I'd rather not believe you hold so extreme a view of your fellow citizens. It seems pretty clear that at least some form of judicial review is warranted. The election laws of the State of Florida will be interpreted by a judge, and some final determination will be made at the state supreme court level, presumably. This is the process of law, and it is meant to protect our citizens from having their vote subverted by the very mechanism that is meant to record their will. I find your post and many others like it highly disappointing. No doubt you feel the same way about mine.
