O.k., I'll say it. All the anchors on the news coverage are too old and way too out of it. Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw (actually best of the group), Peter Jennings, Bernard Shaw....man they looked so old and out of it on Tuesday night it was terrible. Couldn't speak, couldn't think, looked like death warmed over.

Are there no young, bright, quick news guys out there? I like Brian Williams, for example.

It was probably the most unprofessional journalistic act I've ever seen, and I'm not a bit sorry to hear that he is leaving.

Yes, from what I've read (Internet is great; I did a search on google and came up with this reference: pbs.org; btw it was '88 and Dukakis) it was a complete setup. But I think his answer wasn't what I'd expect from a presidential candidate. He didn't show that "he felt (our) pain". He didn't have to go into his standard answer on death penalty. It was a personal question and he should've answered it in a personal way.

Scumbria,

Bernard Shaw was responsible for screwing up a Presidential election himself once in the 1980's.

One single question doesn't screw up an election.

One bad answer can.
