Amy, Re: Florida law was violated because the ballot was drawn in a manner which is unlawful according to FL law. I don't know if this implies a revote will occur

As I asked in another post to Scumbria, is this technicality ? As an outsider, I would say they are playing the word game here to find a way to void the result which IMO is very unfortunate.

Re: "Florida law was violated because the ballot was drawn in a manner which is unlawful according to FL law"

Amy, this has been shown to be a mis interpretation of the law. You have the link to the Florida law. Why is it that you can't read section 6?

(6) Voting squares may be placed in front of or in back of the names of candidates

It is quite puzzling that people can have the link to the Florida law but somehow become blind when they read past section 2. Please take a moment and read it.

Amy:

I used your url and tracked it to 101.5609 Ballot Requirements, of Title IX, ELECTORS AND ELECTIONS Chapter 101 Voting Methods And Procedure (Elections Procedures Law of the State of Florida), it appears to be a correct representation of the Florida Law, and it seems to indicate that "butterfly" ballots are not "illegal" [for electronic ballots]:

...(6) Voting squares may be placed in front of or in back of the names of candidates and statements of questions and shall be of such size as is compatible with the type of system used. Ballots and ballot information shall be printed in a size and style of type as plain and clear as the ballot spaces reasonably permit. ...

"Fraud" is the intentional misrepresation of a material fact which induces reliance. The person who is accussed of fraud must have made the misrepresentation with scienter, which technically defined is general Bad-Nastiness.
