Joe,

with almost everyone, you have to define the language used.

Everyone is for reasonable gun control.

Everyone is for reasonable abortion laws.

Everyone is for reasonable environmental responsibilities.

Everyone is for reasonable taxation.

Everyone is for reasonable government control over state governments.

Everyone could think it is reasonable for the popular vote of a nation to elect their leader.

Here's a reasonable plan that makes sense!
Let's elect the next president like shareholder votes of corporations. A lot of power from Washington DC is their power over dispersing our tax money to each state. I suggest we allow one vote to each individual for each dollar paid in taxes the previous year. You go to the polls, and you vote your wishes. Now what would be wrong with the people who pay most of the taxes in this great nation electing someone who will take the utmost care is dispersing their taxes collected?
:o)

Jozef,

I don't know if this has been posted, but it seems to be a logical answer as to why so many people voted "twice";

If Gore is serious about his commitment to this country, he will fight until justice is done.

I guess you mean until he wins. I find the self righteousness amusing: Our victory = justice

Joe,

You're a smart guy....why do you think there were so many calls from the Austin campaign headquarters for Bush to FL after the polls were closed but before the networks recanted their calls of a Gore win in FL?
