Thanks everyone for the comments on allowing HTML in subjects, profiles, original posts & messages. A few follow-up thoughts:

1. Tables & Fixed Font -- Does the fixed font option continue to make sense for SI messages and original posts? Should we allow tables for those who need them?

2. Images/Sound -- I'm torn on this, but tentatively like the idea of viewing images & sound being a customizable option.

3. Profile Pages -- Does a free-for-all really make sense? On the one hand, users should be able to enhance their pages to their liking. On the other hand, Profile Pages also show the last 40 messages someone has written. It can be frustrating to wait for everything to load while I'm looking up a message.

Anyway, that's all I can think of for now. Please keep the comments coming!

They will still be prohibited from our Coffee SHop, right?

Only premium members will be able to post messages on a thread created by a premium member, even in Coffee Shop.

Personally, I think it makes sense for there to be free-for-all discussion for basic members. HOWEVER, I think free-for-all discussion should be separated into public & premium (just like financial discussion).
