However, there's two things I am certain of. They are very related to my constant complaining about Wall St. When a poor guy robs a rich guy, I don't like it, but usually I can understand the circumstances that lead to it. When a rich guy robs a poor guy I lose all control. That's why I hate Wall St. for all the spin, lies, promotion etc.. Similarly, I'd rather my politicians put all their cards on the table. I think GWB is a decent fellow even though I don't agree with a lot of what he might do and support. I strongly dislike someone that curses tobacco with one breath and asks for their money with the next. I dislike someone that screams about corporate greed etc.. while doing crooked land deals and accepting cattle futures profits for herself. In a lot of these cases you might be getting the same type person, but there is a difference that is important to me. I spent my entire youth in NYC pool rooms. They were inhabited by mob figures, hustlers, thiefs, and even a few murderers. None of them ever got me for a nickel because all the cards were on the table. And to be quite honest, if they did, I wouldn't have minded it too much because they had so much less than I did. I've had three dealings with lawyers whose net worth was a huge multiple of my own. I got taken for a few hundred twice. I'd like to string those two lawyers up. I'd gladly make a donation to help out one of the guys I knew when I was in the pool room even if they hustled me in my youth. I find a lot of the Democrats to be a lot like the lawyers I'm talking about. I'm not sure where the line is as far as promoting voting goes. It's grey to me. But there are times when what I hear provokes a WHAAAT!!!
