I disagree with your analogy. The Florida election count, and the re-count, showed Bush won, pending final absentee ballot count. Those were your play and instant replay. To continue with a football analogy, we have Gore behind with 00:00 left, and the gun has sounded, ending the game. Yet, Gore insists on another snap of the ball, claiming a defensive infraction that the referees didn't see in the play and denied after seeing the instant replay. Why not do a hand recount of the entire country? What's good for WPB must be good for the country.
