The reason you fear, perhaps even hate, organized labor, the NEA, etc., is not that we donate $1 to political campaigns for every $15 donated by Big Business.

Or because as a workforce they are overpaid.

We ain't seen nothing yet. There will be outrage in this country, and, I fear, resulting violence. I pray not, but that would be my guess at this point.
Sounds like you'll be the instigator, all your piety notwithstanding. Bush is not like any of those things. His 3 bench appointees in Texas declined parental notification. But people like you want to incite trouble through exaggeration and fear mongering at a time like this, invoking prayer at the same time. That's a shame. When the tide turns and Gore finds a way to claim victory you will never hear Bush supporters call for riots, prejudiced influence. Indeed any question by Bush supporters of the outcome will be met with howls of sanctimonious injury. This is a sick poisoning of the well.

Sorry flap. I'm not a conspiracy theorist myself. And NO ONE can say Gore beat Bush or Bush beat Gore by any certain number yet. Many counts are not yet final. And the popular vote is irrelevant. We elect by the EC. If you don't like it begin the amendment process. I think Shrillary would be willing to help you out.

"The Beck decision, by itself, would do little to curb union political spending. However, it would be an entry point for Republicans to "bust unions" big-time."

What's wrong with busting unions? Only stupid, lazy, incompetent people need a union behind them. Show me a union member and I'll show you a flunkie who wouldn't know how to push a mop without six weeks of intensive training.
