Bad news for Bush. Now they're changing the rule in Palm Beach County (maybe some of the other ones?) on whether votes with hanging "chads" would be counted. That is the punchout portion of the ballot hole. Before it was no, now, they're saying that if 3 of 4 of the threads that hold the chad are out, or broken, the vote counts. In a very populous, high majority Gore county, Gore is bound to pick up >300 or so votes. Now, if this changing of the rules takes place in a totally pro-Gore county, and they don't extend this to all counties (looking at chads), etc., I'd take it to the Supreme Court.
