We have the same punch ballots in Illinois. Takes all of 3 ounces to punch the ballot.

agree to disagree. to me it opens up ability to tamper. turn a pregnant chad to a torn chad with a finger nail. these ballots have been handled too much alreaday for my liking. in an election this close with 6,000,000 votes, you may get a different winner each time you count. we've already gone best 2 out fo 3 and bush won. are we now @ 5 of 7. each additional time they're handled, chads will get torn that were not tornthe first time- even innocently because the counters the previous round may have picked at the chad trying to determine if it's torn or pregnant or whatever. it's a slippery slope.
