Hi Tony and Thread, RE: election & computer glitch

There was an article that discussed the Election and in this article there was a quote that said something about a count problem due to a "computer glitch." Nope, they can't blame this one on Intel!

Talk to you all later, I've got to run now!
Regards, Amy J

Amy,

By blocking a hand count this would prevent a legal battle, and could ensure Bush wins.

Wins what? If he succeeds in blocking the count, his presidency is doomed from day one. His only hope is to win legitimately.

There are so many problems with his 300 vote majority at this point. He needs to back down, and let the cards fall where they may.

Amy, Re: I believe Bush, if he wants to win, must be be effective in blocking a hand count, otherwise, the votes that were meant for Gore would be discovered, thus, open for legal battle.

You are telling half of the story. I can bet you that those mentioned problematic votes(chad stuff) appear through out the states which means there will be votes meant for Bush discovered too. In fact, cnn just said that by going through half of one precinct, 19 more are for Bush and 30 something are for Gore for those votes machine cannot recognize. This is very much in line with the distribution of that county.

Amy,

More hypocrisy from Bush:

Christopher said that Texas had recently enacted its own law - signed by Bush as governor - that allowed manual recounts in disputed elections.
