BTW, here is a copy of the Bush injunction.
I've seen much talk about it on the tube but no one is referring to its contents.
GWB may have made a mistake in not requesting a statewide hand count before the deadline. Time will tell.

My guess is that the hand recount thing cannot be stopped. It's clearly allowed for under Florida law. However, the Repub objections about selective manual recounts being unfair to the voters in non-recounted counties strike me as having some merit.

I think the only way to reach a result both sides will accept, and to somewhat restore public faith in the election process, is going to be a total manual recount of every vote in the state. To make that happen I'd expect the state legislature would have to pass some emergency legislation.
