Probably not a good idea to assume that I am stupid.

You are completely missing the point. Republicans could have asked to have any other county recounted, and they didn't. In fact they apparently made sure that Duval county was not recounted.

Something is really fishy about this election. The exit polls had to have been quite conclusive for such an early declaration. Then Bush ends up on top, and they discover tens of thousands of double punched or uncounted ballots.

If it is such an obvious win to recount, why didn't the Republicans ask for a recount in Duval county, and why did the Democrats ask for a recount?
