>>"I want to know if MY vote in California was expressed. "<<

Me too..... One problem though.... the Republicans have attempted to take the high ground & the window of opportunity for an equitable redress (IE - having the entire state recounted so that all missed votes are correctly counted) has slipped away.

Gore will win if this prevails IMVHO

Perhaps Nixon's words will be valid in this election too...... They stole it fair & square.

Forget it. Or not? The underlying problem with the whole approach, which was easy to see coming down the pike, is that Florida, and especially Palm Beach County, now gets preferential treatment in vote counting. Your vote, my vote, and 50,000,000 votes don't count for sh** now. Any fraud, mistake, embellishment, or whatever, don't mean jack.

I demand Equal Protection under the Constitution, and I think everybody else ought to, too. Floridians shouldn't be the only ones with voting rights.
