Dear jhild: No Bush CANNOT call for all the recounts he wants. He could have once but the time limit of 72 hours has elapsed in the BUSH counties. Gore's people outsmarted him here. I guess the Ballot issue took their eye off the ball. I dont know.
As to Palm Beach, its DISGUSTING the PARTISAN POLITICS now playing out. Are you familiar with how this recount is going on? Mid count rule changes by the Democrat election board etc etc. JDN

It could also come down to a 271 for Gore to 269 for Bush and then people would be speculating that 2 people might switch their electoral vote to Bush (which should be illegal but it is not).
