Read the Red Herring interview with Gore. Man, that guy is SO intelligent it's amazing. Even the cyber-snooty Red Herring guys were blown-away by his brilliant visionary thinking. They also confirm Gore's leading role in making the internet what it is today. Impressive as hell.

Now contrast that with Bush's first moves to "transition". He is bringing back exactly the same old retirement-age Cold Warriors and DC super-lawyer-military-industrial lobbyists who ran his father's administration. His vision is of the past. 8-12 years ago. Doesn't seem he has any fresh faces or ideas. Hard to believe many young voters went for Bush. Pretty backward-looking IMHO. And is Colin Powell (despite his fame) even qualified to be Secretary Of State? And this Condaleeza Rice, pu-lease. Running our foreign policy? No Henry Kissinger there.
