Claiming any vote as the will of the people has problems. I merely started by saying Gore won the popular vote- which he did. Then Mr. Minor chimed in with his math counts- I simply had to make fun of him. It was important. It was necessary.

I think we should have another civil war- the inside against the outside- since the inside of the country all went for Bush and the coasts went for Gore. I think we need to water that tree of liberty in blood- and I'm volunteering all the men here for watering duty. You and I can be nurses, Rambi. Of course I will only nurse wounded Dems, and I assume you will want to be a nightingale for the repubs.

Rambi, the media really blew this one. They called Florida and the panhandle (from just west of Tallahassee to Pensacola) still had nearly an hour to vote. They said that once the state was called by the media people were dropping out of line and God only knows how many people heard it on the radio or on TV and didn't bother to even go to the polls. Sad and needs attention before the next election. I intend to lobby for not releasing any counts until the polls on the west coast are closed in national elections.
