SCUMbria - re: "The media did a huge disservice, and ultimately must take responsibility for the confusion."

Sure - with all the Florida Side Show broadcasts, the Media will be tripping over themselves to give themselves huge raises and bonuses for "superb election coverage".

What a joke.

Paul

Scumbria, <The media did a huge disservice, and ultimately must take responsibility for the confusion>

Sure, the media did a huge disservice, but they'll never take responsibility for anything.

Going back to SNL last night, there was another humorous sketch where a sportscaster was reporting on the scores of football and basketball games currently in progress. The sportscaster then went on and "projected" the winner of each game based on the score. Or if the score is too close or the game just started, they called the game "too close to call."

By the way, whatever happened to the constant polls we had to endure throughout the campaign? Didn't they consistently show like a 2% lead for Bush in the popular vote, but a likely win for Gore in the electoral college? Man, if anything, this just proves that the media really is off the mark. Maybe it's time we voted those idiots out of the press and replaced them with better personnel ...
