Thanks for posting it. Now. OK liberals blast away. Am used to it by now<g>. Because here's the picture of the Gore team strategy that IMHO is emerging in the context of what has happened so far. We already know, based on W.P.Beach democrat officials statements in their chaotic, "kangaroo court", 2:30 AM TV appearance<lol> that the full count in JUST their county will take another estimated 990 hours!!!!! Beginning Monday, at the earliest. IF that hand count does survive the Bush court challenge and go ahead? Dubya will have no choice but to pursue similar hand recounts where the law allows them in ALL the closely contested counties in ALL the narrow margin states. So why is Warren Christopher so serene in suggesting that the Bush forces go ahead if they wish to do that??? BECAUSE thread! It doesn't take rocket science to figure out that such a giant chaotic mess can't possibly be settled in time for the 12/18 vote of the electoral college!! And doesn't the 12th amendment to the US Constitution provide that a candidate without the required 270 electoral votes can still become President IF WHEN THE ELECTORAL COLEGE MEETS one candidate simply has more electoral votes than his opponent? Surprise surprise, lol. Who currently leads in this count - which has been frozen BECAUSE of weeks and weeks of DEMOCRAT MANDATED hand counting in, God only knows, how many counties??? That's right. It's Delay, Delay, Delay on the final decision in Florida (which we all know will go to Bush on the simple machine recount + the absentee ballots). The grand strategy is to get Gore to 12/18 with NO CHANGE in the current electoral vote totals. Gore then becomes President, before a count in ALL the key Florida counties can possibly decide who really won the electoral college! But hey. Only "a right wing extremist" or a "conspiracy bug" would notice such things. Right? After all, the demos only want the election to reflect "the will" of the people, right? But before liberal friends take offence at what I've outlined above. Why now wait and see if the rest of the pieces arrive to complete the picture and prove my thesis. One things for sure. We're gonna wait "for awhile" before the political meltdown is over. Isopatch
