David- George W. is a $2 billion "dry hole". They're broke.
Contributors are angry and are not picking up their phones.
Gore is paying cash up front for his lawyers and recounts.
I don't know what 'W' is doing. Maybe using up the transition fund.

From the NY Times:

Their public financing drying up, both camps are raising money to pay
rafts of lawyers and political operatives sent to every corner of Florida to
examine county voting records and wage a campaign-style public
relations battle.

I'm sorry to bring you bad news. But Microsoft is going to do fine. Maybe see 80 bid soon.

Before anyone jumps to the conclusion that I have always been this critical, I offer the following.

In this election I voted for a democrat to be my state governor, a democrat to be the state DA and several democrats for the house of reps. I vote for who I believe has the best ability to do the job and who has the best policies for the future of our community.

I believe that this presidential election fiasco will change my future voting tendencies. The lies and the unforgivable extent that the democrats spin and politicize every issue has left me in awe. They clearly believe that their cause is above all moral or ethical guidelines. They clearly are willing to subvert the process even to the extent that the country is harmed.
