No, I am not a fascist, I am a civil libertarian. Hate speech obviously must be free -- because this thread seems full of it. I think PC is opposed to free speech. I can't distinguish hate crimes from any other kind, even though the state of mind of the criminal is IMO irrelevant to the severity of the crime. I measure severity from the objective impact on the victims -- degree of injury, loss of income and wealth, pain and suffering. After all, the High Priests and the Romans executed Jesus with the best of intentions, I am sure.
