John,

In the last few years we had an impeachment for a blow job, several House speakers go down for lying about their affairs, the end of civilization because of Y2K, some team no one ever heard of won the Superbowl, and worst of all- France won the World cup.

Democracy will survive. This really is a small problem compared to Watergate (at least until the truth comes out about Volusia County.)

I don't know if most US citizens realize the importance of stability of our system to the rest of the world.."

John, if they don't we do! Here people are not laughing, they are concerned. Here is what our papers have to say about your election:

France: L'Express in Paris is showing headless torsos in the Oval Office and writes: "America Unhinged!" Forgive me if I don't find it funny! Last week Americans began to feel what it feels to like in the countires they sometimes mock - places like Italy, Peru, Russia. Maybe now you began to understand that the orderly constitutonal system which you tend to regard as preordained, and unshakable depends on forbearance of individuals.

Frances Le Monde news paper showd a divided view, Its front page read "American Democracy in Crisis" but the papers editorial praised the United States for taking all the time
without giving to impatience., to arrive at a clear result." the paper further said " faith in right to vote is the pillar of American greatness!"

In Russian nobody is worried about America! The papers read "Just like Russia." Alexander Veshnyakove, chairman
of Russia's Central Election Commission is touring the United State. In a Press conference Putin said "maybe he can advise Americans in how to hold election."

Britains's largest circualatin daily news paper, The Sun runs a big one-word headline! "CHAOS" but the paper editorial said that "what we are seeing is demcoracy in action" Brits know better! gg

Kind regards

Yaacov
