McGeorge Bundy went to my prep school. His son was in my class. Those were the old days when Groton boys went on to lead the world. Ancient history. As it should be with a certain grown-up kid named Bush too. IMHO they just don't have enough real-world experience. Bush knows very littel about foreign affairs and has only been out of the US three times. Probably yachting in the Caribbean. Condaleeza Rice is an admirable woman but not fit to run our foreign policy. She's being used and she doesn't even know it. Or does she? I don't know her well enough to say anything more. Colin Powell also doesn't seem like he'd be a very good Secretary of State. I can't imagine him flying back and forth between hot spots sitting at the negotiating table. He's a man of action and a soldier. Those are two entirely different perspectives. I also believe Bush is just using him for his popularity, though it certainly didn't help him with the black vote. 90% for Gore is a record.
