there is no separation of sex and state.

Excuse me? These are MINORS we're talking about here, not adults. The state has EVERY responsibility not to undermine their religious values while they are still wards of their parents.

If what you claim were true then any public school in America could legally teach the Kama Sutra, with pictures and diagrams.

Now since THEY ARE NOT DOING THIS, there is no reason they should be teaching homosexual positions with taxpayer money, nor should they be receiving state money aimed a preventing suicides in one class of students, and not another.

For whatever reason, you seem to be denying the obvious. These people were attending, and teaching at this conference on a paid status.

But even more... what you don't get is the fact that gays are doing themselves a disservice in their quest for recognition and acceptance.

The last thing one should ever do is act in a radical manner that is construed as threatening to the majority. For the majority may just react out of fear and make your lot in life even more miserable.

Some things take time, and must be dealt with in moderation and gradually. But some things should NEVER be supported with taxpayer dollars... namely such things as religious or sexual preferences.
