Any sex education you give children supports some preference or other. Are you trying to say you want no sex education in school? I can't agree with that. Children get plenty of misinformation from their friends, whether or not any adults ever speak to them about sex. If kids want to opt out of the health movies, they have every right- but sex education in school is a good thing, imo. So the little religious darlings can get little pieces of paper from their parents that spell out the parental wish for those children to remain ignorant. Of course sex education in school presumes heterosexuality- it can't help but do that. No public schools are going to try to answer the questions the TEENS presented at the Tufts seminar. No public schools are going to try to address homosexuality- the main thrust right now is to try to keep young homosexuals from not being beaten up because they are gay. Please see the recent law suit in San Jose in which 5 students are suing over a systematic pattern of abuse that their school district did not protect them from. You are probably not aware this conference was on a Saturday, since you do not seem to be aware of anything more than what you had in your little URL. None of the attendees were paid to attend. At the most they got credits. BFD. I'm sure you think the gays are doing themselves a disservice. I'm sure you'd like them back in the closet. I disagree with you. The tactics they are using are effective. American is becoming more tolerant- and people like you are the remnants that will either evolve or become extinct. Can't be too soon.
