What are you talking about? When Ford pardoned Nixon, there was practically rioting in the streets by all the liberal hippie types. It was all "spear headed" by the media. No one hated Ford more than the media or Hollywood. But the problem today is that Gerald Ford wouldn't be acceptable to the leadership of the Republican Party Now where did you come up with this? He is well respected by the Republican party and always has been. He is a man of his word.

I think the wounds that are bothering me more then any other is people whom have interacted for a long time about stocks, family, etc. that are ready to rip each other's eyes out if they were within reach of each other. Not really this thread, but others I read. Sad. I don't like Al, but the election is over. The people in FL on both sides are going to keep doing what they are doing regardless of who I like or don't like. My vote has been cast. I am now standing ready to support the next President regardless of whom that will be with all my heart. Perhaps that is the military in me and that is the way I was trained, but it is a pretty good thought process. Imagine for a second a military that was not standing ready to support the next President. Scary thought isn't it? I find it equally scary a populace that isn't ready for that. Flaws exist and have for many years. Fraud exist's and always have. Doesn't matter. Let the system do it it's thing and support the result without rancor. Again this is not directed at you but just ramblings on my part. Jeff
