The laws governing ballot design were not followed in Palm Beach County

Hey pal... if you're going to rail against the "system" make sure you understand who designed that system.

The supervisor of elections in Palm Beach is an elected democrat. She designed and had approved by BOTH sides, the ballot that was used in that county.

I'm really sorry that those 19,000 people were so busy and hurried that they couldn't take the time to properly vote.

But hey, in the heavily Republican region of the upper panhandle of Florida, some 25,000 ballots were disqualified.

But hey.. I don't see any Democrats crying over the "harm" that has occured to them...

You're simply pathetic in your ignorance of what is actually going on.

I'm sorry to be so harsh, but given your aggressiveness and complete and utter disregard for the facts, let alone the truth, I feel I can get away with it...

Ya Moron!!

william,

You're apparently dramatically behind on the news. That ballot was NOT illegal. Turn on your TV and listen to people that actually know something. Also, there were far more ballots discarded in a republican county in north Florida and that ballot was even more confusing than the Palm Beach ballot.

You don't hear any people protesting that do you. That's because it's just as irrelevant as the Palm Beach ballot. Neither was illegal. The voters were confused, careless or just plain stupid. That has no bearing on the election validity.

You didn't hear the announcement following the manual recount did you. They read off about 30 examples of confused voting. People were voting for all of the candidates (all 10), every other candidate on the odd numbers, every other candidate on the even numbers, 3 of the 10 candidates, 4 of the 10 candidates, 5 of the 10 candidates, and so on and so on.

I really don't think you can claim the ballot had much to do with these idiotic ballot results.

Did you know that the democratic campaign manager (Daley) has the same ballot in his home county and they had a similar % of tossed out ballots? You don't hear much complaining about that do you?

Dave
