Carl,

We could solve all these problems in the future with our latest technical revolution (the internet). Each registered voter is send a personal security code to vote. Votes could be done on a PC (from home) or at the polling place (people w/o PCs). The ballots would be consistant across the whole US. The computer would make sure your ballot is correct and alert you to mistakes such as double voting. It would then accept you're ballot. The count of votes would be quick and 100% accurate.

Fraud, you say? Well, the only way I see fraud is if you give your code to someone or it is stolen. But it is basically no different that what can happen today in NC. There is no ID shown at the polling place. I can walk up to any precint and say I am so-n-so and vote that person's voting right (if they haven't voted yet).

I just fell a lot of this can be eliminated using technology.

Mark

Carl, I am not sure if it is nice to characterize 45% of the US population as "pigs". It certainly does not help to situation. Democrat could as easily say that those "republican counties" certified their count so fast to hide their own "hanky panky", since once a county count is certified, no challenge is feasible, I believe. Maybe the Republican were too cocky and sure that the oversea ballots will carry the day for them. I don't know, but I surely would not call them pigs because they rushed to seal their own fate.
