This is the worst economy our country has seen in a long time. Bet you won't hear that reported in the Big Media.

President Clinton is a very smart, shrewd person no doubt... but the great economy we witnessed the past 8 years was none of his doing... it was the doing of President Bush before him... president Clinton was just smart enough to convince the people that the economy was heading south before president Bush was able to demonstrate to the nation the results of what he and the administration has done... there are numerous articles to that effect... and in international papers and magazines... The Economist is one I recall... so, before crediting some politician that the economy was his doings... PLEASE check the facts...

the best the current administration has done was that they didn't screw up the economy while in power and they just rode the wave... and for that, I thank them... but, I would much rather see a president that has not bent every imaginable way to become president...

best regards

<< I ain't talking any one day swing.......We have seen the best market in our lifetimes under Clinton......Gore is Clinton without the charm and sex scandals >>

The technology breakthroughs of the last 20 years have been the fuel behind the economy and the market. It's not Clinton. It's business that provided the nice market and economy.

Gore is anti-business. That will hurt the market. At this point though, just resolving this mess would be the best thing for the market, IMO.
