Gore's electoral cleansing

Two signs that the fix is on for the election: The arrival of Bill ‘Giancani’ Daley and the likes of Molly Ivins signalled what was coming. Molly who? Ivins. She’s a Democratic hack with the Star-Telegram. The likes of Ivins are akin to political barometers. In last Saturday’s article the barometer was reading “Democratic fix.” In her column there was no doubt that the recount would favour Gore and that it was justified. And this will be the liberal media’s story from now.

But the recount is utterly worthless from a statistical angle because the counties are dominated by Democrats. By definition, this means that the total vote will have been deliberately skewed to Gore. It does not mean that his total vote exceeds the Bush vote. The only way the this can be determined is for every county’s vote to be manually counted. Now the likes of Ivins know this just as they know that the present situation amounts to vote-rigging. But they don’t care because, as the TNA has already pointed out, Ivins and her ilk do not believe that the Republican Party is a legitimate political force and that it is truly evil. Therefore any means is justified in denying it government, even if that means cheating at the polls.

Which brings me to ‘Giancani’ Daley. If anyone knows about rigging polls it’s this electoral ghoul. His swift presence on the scene guaranteed that the proceedings would be utterly corrupted. This is already happening. The three-member Palm Beach County election canvassing commission consists of two Democrats and County Judge Charles Burton, the commission's chairman. When Burton proposed a motion to ask the Florida Secretary of State's office for advice before proceeding with a hand count the other two members immediately overruled him.

And who are these two stalwart defenders of democracy? Why Theresa LePore, the Democrat who designed the ballot paper, and Carol Roberts whose political bigotry is well-known. That neither thought to recuse themselves immediately cast suspicions on the counting procedure as well as their integrity. That mid-way through the count they changed to a different procedure that would make electoral fraud even easier to commit confirmed suspicions that the vote was being rigged to favor Gore.

LePore’s and Roberts integrity can be gauged from their attitude toward Beverly Green who lost her bid in a GOP primary election for a state legislative seat by only 13 votes. When Green appealed to the commission LePore’s response was: “It wasn't that close. The manual count is historically when it's single digits”, except when it comes to Al Gore.

Only Democrats could be this brazen and only Democrats would treat a self-evident conflict of interest with such contempt. But this is why Molly Ivins is smiling. To her Stalinist mindset, this is justice, not corruption and LePore and Roberts agree. This is the Democrats’ groupthink at work. And the thing it works against is the Constitution, for which this bunch don’t give a damn.

Ivins slavishly follows the Democratic line, as will the major networks, that those who “accidentally” voted for Gore were disenfranchised. No they weren’t. Anyhow, by what mysterious means did Ivins divine the true intent of these voters? Has she forgotten that nearly 8,788 of these residents voted for Pat Buchanan in the 1996 election? Was that an accident, comrade Ivins? Now she and the rest of her lefty buddies are trying to say no one in Palm Beach would ever vote for Buchanan.

If the lefty likes of Ivins, LePore, Roberts, etc., were genuinely concerned about arriving at an honest result they would have called for a hand-count for all of Florida’s counties. But that would be taking democracy too far. In fact, I’ve just come up with a brilliant idea. I’m positive that the progressive Molly Ivins will love it. Why don’t we just have elections in states dominated by Democratic voters. After all, that’s what she is basically supporting in Florida.

As liberals have seen fit to quote Buchanan in support of their corrupt tactics let me finish with a quote from an interview he gave last Sunday:

Let's back away and get to the reality. Bush won the popular vote in Florida. Bush won the recount. The Democrats are demanding a recount by hand in four counties that are heavily Democratic. That not only lends itself to human discretion and human error, it opens the thing up to more than just mischief.” And this is exactly what it’s supposed to do.

We are now witnessing what amounts to electoral cleansing.

Tomorrow I will relate the thrilling tale of How to Steal an Election. Regrettably, this is one story Spielberg, Rob Reiner and the rest of the Hollywood's Stalinist left will never put on the silver screen.
