Bush should have asked for a manual count, rather than filing a lawsuit where he is the Plaintiff for a claim which is contradicted by legislation he passed in his state.

I concur with you that both sides should be open for a state-wide manual count.

Hi Gary, actually that's not what I just read...

"Gore joins lawsuit to extend Florida recount deadline"

Amy J PS I believe this may be the first lawsuit that he joined. I believe the other lawsuits were by Bush and individual citizens, but am not sure.

The Bush camp did not ask for a manual recount of the entire state of Florida because they believed that the law did not permit manual recounts except in the case of evidence of fraud. Looks like they should have asked anyhow.
