I take the strategy of the Gore campaign to have been one of blitzkrieg, with the anticipation of the sudden collapse of the opposition. Create as much noise as possible, create as much doubt as possible, delegitimize, slander, and insinuate, and Bush would fold. But he hasn't, he will fight it out. That is the mark of someone fit to be president, that he cannot easily be cowed by the low tactics of his opponent, but he will determinedly do what he has to to counter them. Now I know for sure he has the strength of will to be president......
