FTUS - Factory To You stores are similar to TJ Maxx and are growing at a remarkable rate. [60% increase in earnings this past quarter.] biz.yahoo.com
Quick profile: biz.yahoo.com

We started following this company here on the HOME thread long ago. . .when they were a penny stock called Family Bargain or FBAR. I think we originally bought them around $1 1/2 or so. . . .then they reverse split to about $8 and changed their name.

This stock should be added to our Phoenix group. It has successfully held its value throughout October and has been rising sharply and steadily through November. The PE ratio is 38 similar to WMT and it currently trades at 42. . . with a market capitalization of a half-billion. . .compared to TJX 6.6 billion. Likewise, Ross Stores [ROST] has a PE of about 10. But neither TJX, nor ROST are growing anywhere near the rate of FTUS. . . which is why it already enjoys a premium.

I believe we are seeing rotation of mutual funds today out of TJMaxx. . .which is now down 16.4% on the day at $23.50 with a 13.5 PE. . . .and into FTUS, which is up another 2% today and just one point away from breaking out of its 52 week high.

Now I have yet to find one of these stores. I guess they are out West. So I have no subjective opinion on how they are doing, but their growth rate seems to be outperforming other retailers. So it is worth doing DD on it. . .to consider it as another potential play. . .for those who like retailers.
