There were also some nimrods complaining about two page ballots, another alternative to butterfly ballots when there are many choices. Some people punched a selection on both pages for a single office. This butterfly ballot complaint won't fly IMO, especially since it was approved locally by Democrats and published in the paper and on their county election site.

like i said - with punch ballots, hand counts are a marvellous way to improve upon ones results, and i think this is why the injunctions are sought.
it would be great to have a Republican stronghold do a hand count too...i'm convinced it would serve to prove the point.
speaking about ways of screwing people, when the media gave Fla. to Gore well BEFORE it was certain, the predominantly Republican voters in the panhandle which is in a different time zone didn't bother to vote anymore. otherwise Bush's lead would probably be much larger, and there wouldn't be any wrangling.
i think if Robot gets it (and i hope he does, as the bubble has formed under the Clinton administration and it would only be just for his veep to have to deal with the fallout)you'll see another manifestation of popular discontent from the other side of the political spectrum.

however, the still outstanding votes from overseas military personnel should settle things anyway in favor of Shrubs...he'll come to regret it soon enough.

Flats, I made this offer to DAK but he wouldn't take it - I will buy you a case of your favorite beer or a liter of your favorite liquor, up to $100 in value, if the challenge to the layout and structure of that butterfly ballot prevails, if you will do the same for me if it doesn't.
