Hi Steve,

You know, the old standard used in the computer biz would work well here. When a customer calls in a complaint the service rep determines if the problem is with the "machinery"(hardware/software) or with the end-user.

If the problem is with the machinery, it's the vendor's responsibility. If the problem is with the end-user, it's the end-user's responsibility.
