fyo, Re: 1Q02 P4 DDR chipset from Intel

The lack of a full Intel solution for DDR may reduce the acceptance of P4 w/DDR by conservative customers (ie. corporate market) that don't want to invest in RDRAM memory - unless, RDRAM really shines with the P4 and volume production lowers prices.

fyo,

That should send VIA stock skyward.

I am very doubtful about Via's future. What I mean is a future for them that has them anything other than a niche chipset provider. Their temporary success within last 12 months was an aberration, IMO.
