I guess the binsplits aren't what some people thought. It occurs to me that Intel may try to do a "P4 Lite" line. It would use a i850 chipset that only supports PC600 and would sold as a value line. Sure the benchmarks would stink, but it would be 100% compatible with the "processor with the future built-in".
