Just the smell ... there's quite a few sites like that around, some are more cleverly subtle with the code words than others ... i didn't spend a lot of time on it. I'll check out the fbi site sometime ... it is true that if they have hispanos on one axis of a table then they need to have them on the other axis to make the data meaningful ... factoids - half of all cubanos are black [although very few of those who go to Miami] ... the great majority of mexicanos, chicanos, etc have indian blood, and in most it forms a majority ... there are asians, i know a lady who runs an airline office in the city of México, her grandfather was born there, she is of purely japanese stock and when i asked her if she was japanese she said firmly 'no, soy mexicana' ... germans, scots, danish, italians, the new presidente has the irish name Fox ... all hispanos. There are factors other than race that bear on crime ... imho a major one is the presence of dense populations, man was not designed to live in cities ... i've seen Harlem and Watts and east LA, sure liked the Sangre de Cristo mountain country a lot better, and found there reasonable friendly people who could not have been the same trying to exist longterm in east LA, for sure ... man was not meant to be so far from the soil as in modern urban conditions imho ... i suppose that makes me a 'populationist' or something, well so be it. Which is not to advocate legislation on the matter, it can't be done, got to deal with the world the way it is now ... it got to be the way it is partly through the great 60s explosion in handouts in those urban areas, so adjusting the system in such a way as to motivate individuals to responsibility would seem to be the way to go, and that has been the trend in recent years, it should continue ... but setting up little racial boxes in which to categorise people preparatory to demonising them, that's not gonna work, you know it will backfire on you, no group among our species has a stellar record much less a spotless one, and the chances of the dominant race in an area having even anywhere near an acceptable record are slim indeed. The majority of crooked dollars would flow through white-collar crime, i would conjecture ... let's see the racial breakdown on that.
