"Here's my premise: there are 2 holes at the top of the ballot that have to fit over 2 pegs in the voting booth, if this isn't done then the holes don't line up" The card readers that I knew would not read that card and the first thing one would do was "hand check" (hand count) and correct (count). The error was generally pretty obvious and remember... the job would not run correctly without the corrected card. I have no problem if Dubya wants to hand count in Texas. After all, he did sign it into law. Regards, Don
