John, Re: I have a problem with her approach, she seems to be taking direction directly from the Bush camp. In her position, interpreting Florida election laws, I think that is unfair, and should she step down. Her latest move is absolutely unnecessary and make her look real bad.

I just see this spiraling down into a more and more partisan battle, with less and less regard for what is legal and/or right. At the start, I was hoping Florida would rise above the politics to certify a correct election by law, but the partisanship is getting worse every day." Personally, I think that all the Lawyers and politicos should stand aside and take the vote as it stood before the hand counts plus the absentee ballots where the postmark can be read easily... "Whatever who says whatever" will be construed as politically motivated...there is no getting around that... The worse scenario is drag it through the courts to the supreme court of FL and they might say, hey...let someone else decide. Maybe it ends up in the House and Bush wins because of the split there. Then the screams start again. Better to settle it now...IMHO... Jim
